Who We Are

MAARIF organization for Humanitarian Aid and Development is a Sudanese national nongovernmental organization (NNGO) and non-profitable established in 2012 (was under the name MAARIF for Water Services, Sanitation and Hygiene until 2019). Maarif as an initiative to provide aid in all its forms for the vulnerable community in SUDAN, and has been operational in the field of humanitarian aid since then. We are trying to bridge the gap in health services by dedicating our time and mobilizing our resources towards addressing the pressing needs of the most affected population.

The organization addresses the most urgent and pressing needs of the people of Sudan while pushing for long-term change mainly works in Greater and Kordofan, and is anticipating expanding with current proposals under revision over the country in the near future; especially in eastern and central areas in Sudan.
